With over 10 years of experience in the humanitarian ecosystem, my career has focused on promoting the inclusion of vulnerable groups through public policy, strategic partnerships, and project design and management.

I led the legal area at HIAS Panama, a global nonprofit organization, where I developed and carried out a legal advisory and outreach strategy to inform refugees and asylum seekers about access to their rights in the provinces of Panama, West Panama, and Darién.

At UNHCR, the UN Refugee Agency, I developed various initiatives and partnerships at the regional and national level to promote the protection of refugees, asylum seekers, and displaced people across Central America.

I led the production of videos and documentaries on refugees in Central America and the southern Caribbean, including the short film Darién. A place of transit, a place of destination, which portrays the reality of one of the most dangerous routes used by thousands of refugees and migrants in search of safety and stability, and the docuseries "(in)Visibles," co-produced by Ecocinema and UNHCR, which tells the stories of six displaced people across the Americas and the Caribbean.

I led the regional partnership between UNHCR and ManpowerGroup, a global company focused on human development and hiring, aimed at promoting private sector engagement across Central America, especially in Panama, in support of refugee employment inclusion. The partnership became the joint program Talento Sin Fronteras, strengthening employment opportunities for refugees in Panama through innovative workshops and skills exchange.

I developed large-scale and digital communication campaigns to address discrimination and xenophobia at the regional and national level, including the Doy La Cara campaign in Central America and Somos Lo Mismo in Panama. I also managed various social impact programs through culture, promoting public policies for inclusion and peaceful coexistence in Panama.

I have specialized in communication, social development, public policy, and project management. I was a consultant for the Inter-American Development Bank on gender, diversity, and inclusion, leading and managing technical and operational support projects for counterparts on public policy, inclusion, diversity, and gender, particularly with indigenous peoples and women's empowerment in Panama.

In 2023, I was awarded a scholarship for Georgetown University's Global Competitiveness Leadership Program and, that same year, received the Huellas del Istmo award with a Mention of Excellence in the Commitment to Cooperation category.

Between 2024 and 2026, I served as Executive Director of Fundación Espacio Creativo in Panama, an organization that uses dance, culture, and technology to offer development and education opportunities to children and youth in vulnerable situations.
